So you think you know the constellations?

This talk will see how well we know the constellations that we watch going overhead at night. Both novice and experienced astronomers are always surprised by the level of their knowledge of the night skies. Whilst we know the locations of some of our favourite deep sky objects, we tend not to know the constellations.

Don Whiteman

Don has worked as a telescope technician and builder for almost 30 years. He has been technical guy at Bintel for last 24 years answering questions and repairing most thing astronomical.
Don spent some time in mid 90s working as a technician at Celestron in Torrance and some time in the early 2000s at Meade in technical services.
He has been and amateur astronomer since his first telescope back in 1965 and been heavily involved in astronomical societies for many years.
A life member at ASNSW, serving on the board of ASNSW from 1994 to 2016, Don actively spends dark time looking for faint planetary nebulae and small faint fuzzy galaxies.
He is still a student of the craft.
